FTP
For any website you set up, we will automatically create an FTP address (i.e. ftp.yourdomain.com). However, due to the nature of DNS propagation, your custom ftp address may not work during the initial 48 hour period after DNS for the site has been set up. If you experience any issues using your custom ftp address
(ftp.yourdomain.com) during this time, you should use the universal ftp address, "ftp1.ftptoyoursite.com." This universal ftp address will allow you to add content to your site before DNS has fully propagated to AHC.

We dont have a recommonded FTP client, but you can use IP Switch (http://www.ipswitch.com/) for Windows and Transmit for Macintosh from Panic (http://www.panic.com) for instance.

MSSQL

AHC has made it very easy to manage your MSSQL 2005 databases by creating a server wide install of a tool called myLittleAdmin. You can reach this interface at https://mssqladmin.websitesettings.com and you will use the login information you assigned to the database when first creating the database.

When logging into myLittleAdmin, you will need to make sure to select the correct server choice from the drop down menu. You can find the correct value within the control panel on the View Database page.

Alternatively, you can use other programs such as Management Studio Express or Enterprise Manager to manage your MSSQL databases as well.

MySQL
Its very easy to manage your MySQL databases with a server wide install of phpMyAdmin. You can reach this interface at https://mysql.websitesettings.com for databases in our SAT datacenter and https://mysql.dfw1-1.websitesettings.com for databases in our DFW data center.

You will use the login information for the database when the database was created.
You can determine which data center you are in based on the test link of your domain. If it contains DFW then your account is setup in the DFW data center and without DFW it is in the SAT data center.

When logging into phpMyAdmin, you will need to make sure to select the correct server choice from the drop down menu. You can find the correct value within the control panel on the View Database page.

Alternatively, you can download use other programs such as SQLyog or Navicat, from their respective providers, to manage your MySQL databases as well.
